Spring Update!

Hey everyone! We are nearing completion of +Universe: Alpha and we have come to the realization that we will need an extra week or two to send the books to print. We took time to edit and revise (and in some cases redraw entire pages to better fit the narrative) some of the interior art, and are continuing that process with the final lettering edits. To make sure we have an efficient and timely shipping date for the rewards, we have begun completing the bonus rewards including the stickers and the commissions!
That being said, there are still a small handful of backers that have yet to complete the surveys that we sent, so if you aren't sure if you have completed yours, please comment here and let us know and we'll get that sorted out quickly.
Thank you for your support and patience. We don't want to give you excuses, we just want to give you a fantastic book.

The first time Danny drew these pages he wasn’t happy with them. He decided to try them again and he made this jaw-dropping introduction spread that shows glimpses of a handful of the key players in the +Universe!
Here’s a list and a short blurb about who we are looking at! I’ll be adding a
1: The Forgotten Primordial God of Death, known as The Father by the ancients of this universe.
2: The first holder of the Bronze Force, Bronze Man I! The forefather of the Earth’s heroes, and the greatest among them. His legacy is carried by his grandson, whom he passed the Bronze Force to.
3: The Fist of Aaron, a hard hitting powerhouse from Atlanta that was once among the greatest warriors in the galaxy. His Instant Precision Strike echoes throughout the stars, but on Earth his name is barely whispered.
4: Black Toro, the body slamming, bad guy beating bad ass himself! Among the first to take up heroic mantles to better the world, he has spent many years protecting those in need and continues to mentor the new generations of heroes.
5: Lawbringer, the Seventh Sword of Nihilis. His soul swore an oath to the God of Law and Order and now he enforces that law to keep the order throughout the cosmos. Find out more about him in Lawbringer #1!
6: Chooli Clah, the Thunder Stallion! A gifted engineer of the Navajo tribe, she dedicated her efforts into aiding her people from the deadly polio virus and after contracting it herself, created bio mechanical calipers that store and discharge kinetic energy, allowing her to run at high speeds and deal explosive damage with her mighty kicks!
7: Cloud! The daughter of Thunder Stallion! This wallflower is just discovering what her incredible elemental abilities can do!
8: Bronze Man II. He may be Bronze, but he’s the golden boy of the +U. After inheriting the Bronze Force from his grandfather, he went through many trials and tribulations as a young hero that will challenge him now in his adulthood. He has big shoes to fill. But only he can do it.
9: El Toro Grande, the apprentice of Black Toro! We can’t reveal too much about him.. yet!
10: Zap! A youthful loud mouth wise cracking rescue hero uses his teleporting abilities to protect the city streets!
11: Lady Avalion, the 98th reincarnation of King Arthur. She wields Excalibur as the rightful King of England, although she does this from the shadows as a member of the covert M-I6 branch department known as The Round Table, which specializes in the supernatural and arcane threats in England.
12: The Mother, Love. The womb of life and soul. Learn about her and her history with The Father in Alpha!
13: Just realized I accidentally skipped this number... Mybad 😅
14: MURDERFLY!!! All I can say about her right now is DO NOT F*** WITH THE ENVIRONMENT OR SHE WILL EAT YOUR FACE.
15: Armory. Can’t reveal too much about him yet!
16: The Golden Guardian II. The grandson of the first Golden Guardian, who still holds the Gold Force. Since his grandfather never passed down the power, GGII uses a Golden suit of armor and leads an international team that has deep connections with the United Nations. He holds a great resentment towards his grandfather.
17. King Sil, the shot caller. The third holder of the Silver Force. This ruthless demigod has control of everything from the drugs on the street, the underground undocumented off worlders, and everything in between. He is a force to be reckoned with.
18: Minuteman. A former competitive fencer that had his eyes set on the olympics, but due to legal troubles his dreams of glory would never be realized. Instead, he found better use of his efforts as a paid assassin.

Hey everyone! Joey here! We’re still moving steady along with production on +Universe Alpha, and we’re getting ready to set up and schedule our first live q&a session with the entire Plus Waco Comics team!
Danny Flores, Armando Ramirez, Hector Negrete and myself will be live with everyone via Zoom answering live questions as well as answer questions that are posted here in the comments!
If there’s anything you’d like to ask, whether it be lore, inspiration, techniques used in the book, etc., leave it here in the comments and we’ll get it answered!
We’re really excited to have the chance to meet everyone and open the floor to discuss +Universe Alpha with y’all!

In a year of incredible adversity, we decided now or never, to take a huge leap of faith and create something that has been lying dormant inside each of our hopes and dreams.
We cannot thank you enough. Truly, from the bottom of our hearts, for playing the role you have in our lives and believing in us.
One day we will have our books in stores around the world. One day little boys and girls will get to play with Lady Avalion, Bronze Man, Lawbringer, and Black Toro action figures. One day you might be walking into a Zap! movie, or watch a Thunder Stalion tv show.
All of this, one day, will be because of you.
